| About Me | I am a full Professor of Psychiatry & Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School and currently direct the McLean Hospital Imaging Center. I also run a Behavioral Psychopharmacology Research Laboratory that focuses on understanding the neurobiology of addiction and in developing new medications to treat drug and alcohol abuse, and have a sleep lab. We have developed a novel herbal medication that reduces alcohol consumption that we hope to launch within the year and am working on a similar drug for cocaine abuse. I also serve as an expert witness in legal cases involving wrongful deaths associated with drugs and alcohol--so I work with a number of attorneys in MA, NH and VT. My 5 daughters have kept me busy and have contributed to most of my gray hairs, but I would not trade the hair color for the fantastic ride. One is married and has two children, #2 is getting married this September, #3 is going to be a junior in college and the identical twins are juniors in high school. I obtained my National D Coaching license so that I could be with my daughters on the soccer pitch since they were 6.
